Timeline

On 4/5/11, the Program Advisory and Oversight Committee (PAOC) held a meeting on the DMEPOS Competitive Bid Program.  After a positive report from CMS on the success of Round 1 Rebid, the  timeline for Round 2 was announced: 
 

Summer 2011

Round 2 Product Categories will be be announced.
At the present time, the product categories have not been announced. 

Fall 2011

Registration for User IDs and passwords begins: 

Winter 2012

 Bidding begins (December 2011 - January/February 2012)
Registration closes

Spring 2012

Bid Window Closes

Fall 2012

Single Payment Amounts announced
Contracting begins

Spring 2013

Contract Suppliers Announced

Summer 2013

Implementation of Round 2 contracts
National Mail Order Program Contracts and single payment amounts
